Due to heavy rain and flooding in the terai region for the last few days, the loss of many lives has left us with a hole in our heart. Seeing our own Nepali dying is heartbreaking and hard to accept for all of us.
In this tragic situation, we as a team request all in the affected area to be patience and seek out for help rather than panic which might risk their own life.
The flooding has left many people without shelter, with no food and no access to clean water. So, there is huge risk for the outbreak of water borne diseases like diarrhoea, cholera, typhoid, dysentry and so on. Medicines are needed first and foremost including water purifiers. As a team we are going to provide first aid and basic medicine along with health check up from our correspondent doctors.
